Poro Tracker is a free fan-made tracker for Riftbound on Rift Atlas: a desktop app for Windows and Linux, and a browser extension for Chrome and Firefox. In short: everything it keeps stays on your computer. There are no Poro Tracker servers, no account, no ads and no analytics.
What Poro Tracker keeps
- Your decks and the deck you're playing.
- Your match history: results, scores, dates, the format, your and your opponents' in-game names and legends, both decklists (unless a player made theirs private), battlefields, who went first, and which of your cards were drawn and played.
- Notes you write on matches and replays.
- Replays of your games, downloaded from Rift Atlas, and replays you import.
- Your settings, and the card list (costs and types) read from Rift Atlas's page.
The desktop app keeps this in its data folder (or a folder you choose in Settings). The extension keeps it in your browser's storage for the extension. Neither sends it to us or to anyone else.
What it reads, and from where
- Rift Atlas: while you play, Poro Tracker reads the game's live connection and what's on screen in the Rift Atlas page. After a game, it asks Rift Atlas's match history for both decklists, the official result and the replay, using your own Rift Atlas sign-in, the way Rift Atlas's own page does. These requests only read; your sign-in never leaves the Rift Atlas page. The only thing Poro Tracker ever clicks is Rift Atlas's "Private deck" box, when you turn that setting on.
- Discord (desktop app, optional): when "Show my game on Discord" is on, the app tells the Discord app on your computer your legend, your opponent's legend, the score and how long the game has been going, to show on your Discord profile. Opponents' names are never shown. Turn it off in Settings.
- App and extension sync: while both are running, they share your matches, decks, notes and replays directly on your computer (through 127.0.0.1). This never goes over the internet.
- Updates: the desktop app checks GitHub for new versions and downloads them from there, and this website shows the latest version from GitHub. Like any download, GitHub sees your IP address; see GitHub's privacy statement.
Sharing
Nothing is shared unless you do it: a backup file you export, or a replay you send with "Send with notes" goes wherever you save or send it. Rift Atlas, Discord and GitHub handle what they receive under their own privacy policies.
Your choices
- Settings can turn off saving match history and saving replays.
- Delete any match, deck or replay from its tab; it's gone from the app and the extension.
- Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it kept. For the app, delete its data folder (Settings → Your data → Open folder).
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date. Questions about your data, or anything else? Email contact@porotracker.com.
